Description
The aim of the course is to introduce the student to the basic mathematical methods and tools of system description and characterization. The subject provides an insight into the basics of system modeling, system simulation, and control theory. The methods of system description in the time-, frequency and operator domain, the principles of control, the effect of feedback, the dynamic properties of the feedback systems will be discussed. Theoretical knowledge is supported by laboratory exercises where the student can get acquainted with the relevant topics of system theory through symbolic and numerical examination of case studies.
