Description
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the design and manufacture of biomedical devices and implants. Get detailed knowledge of the design process, from creating 3D models using imaging techniques (MR, CT) to creating prototypes, to manufacturing implants and tools supported by 3D printing. It is also an aim of this course to provide insight in the further utilization of 3D models, which provides a basic knowledge necessary for performing finite element mechanical and computational fluid dynamics simulations.
